Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Signal Intelligence, operated by Signal Intelligence ("we", "us", or "our") at signalintelligence.cloud. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Signal Intelligence is a cultural intelligence platform that uses AI to analyse topics and generate cultural insight reports and strategy briefs. The service is intended for professional use by marketing agencies, strategy consultants, and brand professionals.

2. Account registration

You must create an account to use Signal Intelligence. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe
• Your plan includes a fixed number of searches per month — unused searches do not roll over
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Account section of the app
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then
• We do not offer refunds for partial months
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

4. Free trial

New accounts receive 5 free searches. Free trial searches are provided as-is with no guarantee of continued availability. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Signal Intelligence to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service at scale
• Share your account credentials with others outside your organisation
• Use the service to generate content that is misleading, defamatory, or harmful
• Circumvent usage limits by creating multiple accounts

6. AI-generated content

Signal Intelligence uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate cultural analysis. The results are AI-generated and should be treated as a starting point for research and strategy, not as definitive facts. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying any information before using it in client-facing work.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of any content you input into Signal Intelligence. The AI-generated reports and briefs produced by the service may be used freely in your professional work. The Signal Intelligence platform, brand, and underlying technology remain our intellectual property.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signal Intelligence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally suspend the service for maintenance or updates. We will endeavour to give advance notice of planned downtime where possible.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to the service will end and your data may be deleted after 30 days.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
